Brown confident Scarborough RUFC can turn things around

They slipped to six defeats in a row following defeat at Percy Park.

He said: “It’s been a tough couple of weeks but we know that we are capable of turning it around.

“Simon (Smith) told us that it’s hard to get out of this rot but we need to continue to perform and things will go our way.”

Having started in the Vikings, Brown has been a vital part of the club.

He added: “I’m really enjoying my rugby at the club and my overall game has progressed massively throughout.

“These last few weeks have been a little touch and go with myself and my girlfriend expecting our first child.”
