Harrison has been back in training for several weeks now as he returns to action and has played two games for the Vikings.

Coach Simon Smith said: “Tom plays at full-back this weekend and it’s great to have him back in - it’s like having a new signing in the team.

“He’s been training for a while now and has played a couple of games for the Vikings, so we’re confident he’s ready to return and I’m sure he’ll do a job for us.”

Recent acquisition Komiti Tuilagi gets his first start in a Scarborough shirt at outside centre, but Euan Govier and Ben Martin are still missing through injuries.

Smith is keen to see his side respond to a run of three defeats in their last four outings and also avenge their 32-10 defeat at home to their rivals in the Yorkshire Shield.

“Every game is a big game, but they’re always bigger when they’re against derby rivals,” added Smith.

“We owe a big performance and I’m confident we’ll get one this weekend.”
