Scarborough RUFC players past and present to honour Manning Smith with Old Boys Game at Silver Royd
Scarborough RUFC players past and present are set to play a fixture to raise funds in memory of former player Manning Smith, who passed away aged 22 recently.
The game will take place at Silver Royd on Saturday between a current team and an Old Boys side.
Former skipper Matty Jones said: “Unfortunately two weeks ago one of our young rugby players passed away from suicide.
“The players have got together to run a charity game to raise money for his young family and suicide prevention.”
