Organiser Craig Farrell said: “This was the biggest event so far with 230 attending, having grown from 120 in 2015.

“It was massively oversubscribed so required a ballot to allocate tickets, and a fantastic time had by all.

“Pocklington RUFC first XV, together with the Scarborough team, joined us after the match and got into the spirit of the event with Pock entertaining everyone with singing and guitar, during the band’s interval.

“The event raised over £1,000 for Sands, the still birth and neo natal death charity, through the raffle, which had around 30 prizes totalling over £800. A huge thank-you to everyone who donated.”
