YH Training SRC competed in round three of the North Yorkshire Evening Road League at Sheriff Hutton this week.

An undulating course and a field of over 60 riders made for a tough race.

Gary Whitton placed best of the YHTSRC team, making it into the break but just missing out on a top 10 finish.

The team also competed in the Velo Club Beverley/Wilsons Wheels Summer Road Race at South Dalton.

Unfortunately, a puncture early into the race forced Dave Leaming to retire.

Whitton finished in the bunch, while best placed rider for YHTSRC was Bob Hewitt, who finished fifth and gaining promotion to second Category racing.

A fantastic achievement so early in Bob’s first season of Road Racing.
