IN PICTURES: This weekend's Kite Festival at Scarborough Castle
Families in Scarborough enjoyed some Bank Holiday fun this weekend.
At Scarborough Castle, children of all ages took part in the Kite Festival where they got to grips with the art of kite-flying by making their own kite and trying it out in the flyingarea. Expert kite flyers were also on hand to impress visitors with synchronised demonstrations to music on the spectacular headland. Pictures by Richard Ponter.
