Alice in Thunderland, who have been together for 25 years, have made it to number 28 of ReverbNation's UK Metal Top 40.

Bass player Kev Truelove said they are thrilled with the placing.

“We believe the chart success is due to getting gigging around the UK and pushing our album both at shows and on social media.

“Over the last few years we have supported artists like Tim Ripper Owens, who is formerly of Judas Priest, and Blaze Bayley, ex-Iron Maiden, and most recently Doctor and the Medics.

“We have started writing new material for the next album. Six songs are more or less finished and ideas and riffs are coming together for the next batch of songs.”

Alice in Thunderland have gigs planned in Seamer and Hull next month. For more information visit
