To celebrate the release, Rocketsmith will perform the album live at The Milton Rooms, one of the area’s best-known live music venues.

The show will mark the band’s biggest local performance since completing the record.

Rocketsmith have previously performed across North Yorkshire and supported Bryan Adams at his outdoor concert in Dalby Forest, introducing their music to a large regional audience.

Singer Andy Warriner said: “Supporting Bryan Adams was an incredible experience and it helped inspire the new album.

“We’re really excited to launch the album at The Milton Rooms.”

“It’s a fantastic venue with a great history of supporting live music, and it means a lot to celebrate the release with our local audience,” said Drummer Anthony Medd.

The band have spent the past year putting together the final touches to their album Hearts and Minds, capturing the energy of their live performances while focusing on strong melodies and emotionally direct songwriting.

The album was recorded at 6bd Studio in York with producer and engineer Dave Boothroyd, with mastering by Sam Proctor.

The album will be released on Friday May 1, with the official launch show taking place the following evening at The Milton Rooms in Malton.
