Ryedale Blues Club is back with gig from founder and organiser Paul Winn

Ryedale Blues Club will be back at the Milton Rooms in Malton at the end of the month for its first gig of the year.

Paul said: "The band has been itching to get-together and play in front of a live audience.

"We didn't think it would be happening this soon. In fact, it wasn't that long ago that the decision was taken to cancel all the Ryedale Blues Club concerts that we had planned for this year.

"However, things have changed and this gig will be the first of what we hope will be a return of monthly blues evenings in Malton."

DC Blues, who are based in York, have become popular fixtures on the UK Blues scene since they were formed in 2012, playing festivals up and down the country and opening for artists such as Dr Feelgood and King King.

Paul added: "This is a concert we are all looking forward to. You don't know what you have until it's gone and we love to play the blues, especially in front of a live audience. We hope to see you there!"

The concert starts at 8pm
