Veteran folk rockers Lindisfarne head to Whitby Pavilion stage
Veteran folk rockers Lindisfarne take to the stage at the Whitby Pavilion this May.
It was back in 1970 that the late Alan Hull and Rod Clements emerged from Tyneside to carve out a unique place for themselves fronting one of British rock's most original bands.
Famed for hits such as Run For Home, Meet Me On The Corner and Lady Eleanor, the popular Geordies under the steerage of Clements enjoyed a run of sell-out appearances in 2023 at more than 50 venues nationwide.
Rod said: “We're not exactly shoe-gazers - we have a lot of fun on stage and I feel that permeates into the audience so that we all wind up sharing the moment.

“People keep coming back to Lindisfarne and while that carries on, we carry on.
"Each year we seem to put on more shows and we're thrilled to be playing Whitby.”
You can see them at Whitby Pavilion on May 17.
