Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team to host exciting film night fundraiser
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) is hosting a fundraising film night called ‘Summit Stories’- an inspiring evening of mountain films, adventure, and real stories.
Every ticket sold will help the SRMRT to continue their lifesaving work across the North York Moors – from searching for missing people to rescuing injured walkers in all weathers, day and night.
The programme features a selection of short films created by elite athletes and filmmakers from around the world.
There will be a fundraising raffle at the event, with and amazing array of prizes available to win on the night, supplied by the film producers and local businesses.
Prizes range from a brand-new pair of Faction Dancer skis, merchandise, signed books, and activity vouchers such as North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Alpamare family tickets.
The event will take place at the Kirk Theatre in Pickering on February 20 and starts at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £12.
