Brid-based band L.O.C release debut single
Few bands manage to accrue a cult following before they’ve performed a single live show, yet Brid-based L.O.C. (‘Level of Consciousness’) have done just that.
This has happened in just over three months, since the Halloween unleashing of their debut release ‘The Ultimate Karma’.

As L.O.C. frontman Adam Towse said: “I am up most days at 5am, so I tend to use this time to schedule social media posts, reply to messages and emails, and work on new ways to forward the band.
“The truth is, you just have to be organised. It's a lot of hard work, but I have a great deal of belief in what we are doing, so I see it as worth the sacrifice.”
Adam’s dedication to the band’s cause has meant that they have already had their music championed by BBC Introducing, The Autopsy Radio Show, and Kerrang!
Such exposure has duly catapulted them into the ears of Metal-lovers around the world, and new single, ‘I Fear No One’ – a breakneck blend of vocals, guitars and drums – is set to cement L.O.C.’s reputation as one of the UK’s ‘hottest Metal acts of 2026’.
“The theme for ‘I Fear No One’ is based around conquering life’s obstacles in order to be the best you can be,’ Adam said.
“Life is full of challenges, and those challenges leave us with a choice: we either keep fighting, or we give in. ‘I Fear No One’ is all about not giving in, no matter what battles you may face.”
The track also perfectly showcases their new sound, which is now even louder. This is due to the recent addition of a second guitarist, which now sees former band bassist Will Watson on guitar and brand new member Dave Worth adopting four-string bass duties.
Adam added: “When we decided that we wanted two guitars to fill out the sound and take some pressure off me as frontman, it made sense for Will to move over to guitar and to find a new bass player. He then came and played with us the following rehearsal and fit in instantly.
“Not only is he a phenomenal bass player, but he is also a great guy who fits into the fold perfectly, bringing some great and very creative ideas to the table.”
•‘I Fear No One’ is now available via all major streaming platforms.
•L.O.C. will be performing at The Stirling Castle in Bridlington on Friday, February 27 and at O’Rileys, Hull, on Thursday, March 12.
