Kevin Sinfield’s ‘Extra Mile’ heads to Bridlington Spa
Bridlington Spa is set to host an unforgettable evening with renowned rugby player, coach and charity fundraiser Kevin Sinfield.
The star will be bringing his ‘Extra Mile’ tour to the venue on Friday, May 22.
The tour is known for Kevin’s inspiring discussion based around an amazing individual career and his subsequent challenges in which he and his team have raised millions for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities.
The show is billed as “inspiring, motivating and is full of stories around dedication, emotion, friendship and a little bit of humour”.
Kevin Sinfield has captured the hearts and minds of audiences worldwide.
The event at the Spa will offer attendees a rare opportunity to hear first-hand accounts of his journey, challenges, and triumphs.
A spokesman for the event said: “Of course, we cannot give you any story of Kevin without mentioning friendships and one friendship in particular with Rob Burrow. Kev and Rob have been friends since they were 14 and 12 respectively.
“They went on and sat next to each other every day in the dressing room throughout 15 years of rugby and were at the very heart of one of rugby league’s greatest teams.
“Their friendship and camaraderie extended beyond the field, and their bond grew stronger over the years. From shared victories to facing life’s challenges, Sinfield and Burrow exemplify the enduring power of friendship and at these events we will hear about this special friendship too.”
Kevin said: “I can’t wait to bring the event to the Bridlington, every time we have visited the area for the challenges the people have come out in force to support us, and I am really grateful, hopefully we will see a few familiar faces there.”
Tickets for the event are available now through www.kevinsinfield.com; www.bridspa.com; or via the Spa box office on 01262 678 258 (early booking is advised).
