Village show aids local bowls club

Burniston and Cloughton Bowling Club recently unveiled 3 new seats at their green in Burniston.

These were funded by a grant from the Parish Council using funds left by the former Burniston Show.

The seats replace older ones as well as increasing our overall seating capacity.

The materials used are steel & recycled plastic to reduce maintenance in the future.

The seats include a plaque commemorating the former village show which will serve as a long lasting memorial both to the show and all who helped with it and exhibited there.

The Bowling Club is adjacent to Burniston & Cloughton Village Hall, potential members and visitors always welcome, come have a bowl or just try the seats.
