Yorkshire Belle to host special spooky sailings during the summer holidays
There will be a series of spooky sailings over the summer holidays on board the Yorkshire Belle pleasure cruiser.
The owners of the iconic ship, which runs a variety of cruises to keep passengers enthralled, have announced the return of the Ghost Cruise after an absence of several years.

The gruesome Ghost Cruises stopped after the storyteller who used to enrapture guests on the ship began offering ghost walks in Whitby full time and could not get back to Bridlington to deliver his fa-boo-lous fables.
Now, after a gap of several years, the owners of the Belle have managed to find the right person to take over the role of raconteur/entertainer to narrate the spooktacular stories.

The bloodcurdling cruises run every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays between 7pm and 8.30pm: July 28; August 4; August 11; August 18; and August 25.
A spokesperson via Facebook said: “After years away, our much-loved Ghost Cruises are returning to the Yorkshire Belle for 2026.
“Step aboard for an eerie evening cruise filled with haunting tales of shipwrecks, lost souls and dark secrets from our coastline.
“As the light fades and the sea turns dark, you’ll hear chilling stories that bring the past to life.

“It will be a unique experience for those who enjoy local history, mystery, and a good ghost story. Pre-booking is essential as spaces on the trips are limited.” Tickets for the cruise are: Adult £17.50 for an adult and £8.50 for a child, while family tickets (two adults and two children) are £43.50.
