He called in at Flamborough Lifeboat Station before pausing for lunch at the North Star Hotel in Flamborough.
He then kept on trekking until he reached Filey Lifeboat Station, collecting more than £200 from people he saw along the whole route.
The walk from Bridlington to Filey is one of a number that Mr Long aims to complete in 2020, including one from Linton-on-Ouse to York on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund.
He is no stranger to challenging walks and has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for various charities since undertaking his first challenge at the spritely age of 75, from London to Lausanne in Switzerland.
Bob Taylor, fundraising chairman at Bridlington RNLI, said: “We’re hugely grateful to Jeffrey for choosing the RNLI as his charity on this walk.”
