Three people charged following criminal damage incidents in Scarborough area
Three people, all from Hartlepool, appeared at York Magistrates Court on Tuesday (July 21) following criminal damage incidents which took place in Scarborough and Filey on Sunday (July 19).
Damian Hadfield, 29, was charged with conspiracy to blackmail, conspiracy to damage or destroy property and possessing a knife in a public place.
Suzanne Allen, 44, was charged with conspiracy to blackmail, conspiracy to damage or destroy property, possessing a knife in a public place and dangerous driving.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with conspiracy to blackmail, conspiracy to damage or destroy property and possessing a knife in a public place.
The three defendants are due to appear at Teesside Crown Court on August 18.
A 51-year-old woman who was also arrested remains in police custody for questioning.
