Firefighters rescued a foal from a river in Ryedale today.
The teams from Malton called out at 10.57am, said the horse was unable to climb out of the shallow water at Low Marishes in Malton.
They helped the foal out of the river and onto the embankment before working with the horse's owners to secure it with a tether.
