Letter: Conservation converstion
The bowling green is the one flat space in the area accessible to the more elderly residents for whom a daily walk around the area - avoiding hills etc - is important.
The conservation area of South Cliff was very attractive and helped us focus on an area in which we would like to live.
At no time did we imagine we would be moving to an area where the term conservation area would mean so little to the elected representatives and the officers.
