Dalesmen Singers to host matinee and gala concert at Whitby's St Hilda's Church

Imagine the sound of more than 100 male voices in glorious harmony – with a 100 year old organ in a marvellous setting in Whitby.

The Dalesmen Singers are immensely proud to present both an afternoon matinee featuring each of the choirs and then a gala evening with the combined choirs at St Hilda’s Church on Whitby West Cliff, on Saturday July 18.

Special guests are Durham Constabulary MVC and Carlton MVC from Nottingham.

The Dalesmen urged people to join in what they hope will be “a wonderful day of entertainment and uplifting music” celebrating 100 years of the Harrison and Harrison Organ.

The matinee begins at 3pm, while the gala begins at 7pm.

Dalesmen Singers practice every Tuesday evening at Danby Methodist Church under the guidance of musical director Steve Maltby.

New members in all male voices are also welcomed.

Matinee only £5, gala only £5, both £8.
