Danby's Alfie Barber to speak at Whitby Dairy and Grassland Discussion Group meeting
A resident of Danby will take to the floor at the next meeting of the Whitby Dairy and Grassland Discussion Group.
Alfie Barber has grown up on and around farms, having lived in the North York Moors area all his life.
He decided to merge his passions for farming and drones and obtain all the relevant licensing to become an Agri drone pilot.
He now runs a professionally piloted drone business offering precision crop spraying, spreading, greenhouse cleaning, and solar panel maintenance, along with mapping of fields or any area for data collection.
The next meeting is Monday November 9 at Sneaton Castle in Whitby from 7.45pm.
