The performance will be the highlight of an entertainment-filled evening featuring a host of Scarborough favourites including Anne Taylor’s Academy of Dance, Harri, Krystal and Tony Skingle as Elvis
Tickets for the event are almost sold out – the last few are available from any of the ladies taking part or via the Ladies Real Monty 2022 Facebook page.
Find out a little more about why each of the ladies is daring to take to the stage, and as their rehearsal T-shirts say, willing to “Get their boobies out for breast cancer.”

If what we are doing raises awareness of this horrible disease and gets even one person (hopefully a lot more) to check their breasts or attend the doctors if they just feel something not right, it will be worth it. I have close friend who is currently fighting, and a couple that have beaten this horrible disease, so I feel it’s the least I can do to kick cancers arse. Photo: Paul Calvert

I am doing this event because I am a breast cancer survivor and thankful for everyday I was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mamagram were they found two tumors and I had to have a mastectomy lymph node clearance Chemotherapy Radiotherapy and breast reconstruction did not go acording to plan, so I have had a tattoo done to cover all the scars. Hi, my reason for doing this amazing function is that I lost my Husband 9 years this New Year's Day, my Cousin is fighting the return of her tummy "C" and we have a dear friend so very very ill now. At the end of the day - we're doing this for the future. Photo: Paul Calvert

I was diagnosed 2 years ago, aged 48, with stage 3 breast cancer. I am doing the ladies 1/2 monty as a survivor! With more awareness and research fewer women would have to hear those three life changing words ‘You have cancer’ Even though I’m completely out of my comfort zone doing this, if I can #fightlikeagirl for my life, I can dig deep & smash this!
