The performance will be the highlight of an entertainment-filled evening featuring a host of Scarborough favourites including Anne Taylor’s Academy of Dance, Harri, Krystal and Tony Skingle as Elvis
Tickets for the event are almost sold out – the last few are available from any of the ladies taking part or via the Ladies Real Monty 2022 Facebook page.
Find out a little more about why each of the ladies is daring to take to the stage, and as their rehearsal T-shirts say, willing to “Get their boobies out for breast cancer.”

I started out supporting this cause as someone in awe of the survivors amongst our group that are a true inspiration to us all. But as the months have progressed since joining, I have had my own personal scare. my experience was very much a wake up call I found out when I had a CT scan of my heart which detected a breast lump After numerous ultrasounds and mammograms on both breasts they found a lump which turned out to be a cyst in my left breast which they aspirated there and then. I had to go back the following week for further testing where later on that day I finally had the all clear. It turned out to be a fatty lump so far back that it was almost on my rib cage. I asked if it was anything to be concerned about in the future and the answer was indefinite for now. Photo: Paul Calvert

After the first time of me doing this amazing performance with some truly inspirational ladies there wasn't a doubt in my mind I would do it again. This time the reasons behind me doing it are much more closer to my heart I lost my grandma 2 years ago to the dreaded breast cancer and it all happened so quickly with her. It worries me daily that I may catch this horrid horrid thing, but I check daily and I urge all men and woman to do the same!! Am I nervous?? Of course I am. But I've said it before and I'll say it again - five minutes of being in front of many people compared to a lifetime diagnosis is nothing. Photo: Paul Calvert

I’m doing the event because we have lost a few family members so it is close to our hearts. Two close friends are going through this now, one has recovered but the other one is still fighting. Photo: Paul Calvert

I lost my mum to breast Cancer 24 years ago . No one should have to suffer like that, and no family should ever have to watch. Cancer also took my close friend when in our 20's, she was 27. My present mother in law & also my previous mother in law were taken by Cancer, and last year my sister's husband had his own battles with this disease. Thankfully he's doing well right now. If my taking part with these other brave women could help towards ridding the world of this dark predator, then I'm in! Photo: Paul Calvert
