The performance will be the highlight of an entertainment-filled evening featuring a host of Scarborough favourites including Anne Taylor’s Academy of Dance, Harri, Krystal and Tony Skingle as Elvis
Tickets for the event are almost sold out – the last few are available from any of the ladies taking part or via the Ladies Real Monty 2022 Facebook page.
Find out a little more about why each of the ladies is daring to take to the stage, and as their rehearsal T-shirts say, willing to “Get their boobies out for breast cancer.”

I met these amazing ladies in 2019 when I joined them in raising much needed funds for the research into this dreadful disease. The ladies that have been through so much and still come out fighting are truly inspirational and if I can help them raise awareness and funds by dancing with them again then I am honoured to be a part of the evening. Keep checking your boobies everyone. Photo: Paul Calvert

I am here in memory of my stepchildren's mum who sadly passed away in 2012 to this awful disease. Out of such sadness came so much joy as I embraced two more wonderful children in to my family. Photo: Paul Calvert

I feel honoured and privileged to be sharing a stage with some of the strongest, bravest women I know. They have fought the beast and refuse to be beaten. These women are the survivors. Together we can beat this and make a real difference for future generations. In the words of the strongest woman I know #fightlikeagirl - time to get your big girl pants on - you know who you are !! I was diagnosed with D.C.I.S. - a type of breast cancer, after a routine mammogram. I had part of my breast removed twice, with the expectation of a course of radiotherapy after each operation, but the evil cancerous cells remained. I had no option then but to have a total mastectomy. I chose immediate reconstruction, as I could not face any further operations. There was nothing to see and nothing to feel!.....A shock to say the least. But, thanks to breast imaging, an amazing surgeon and breast care nurses and the support of my ever-loving family and friends, here I am.....trying to dance and get my message out there.
