The Scarborough News had urged people to join a two-minute doorstep silence this Remembrance Sunday, to ensure we still remember in 2020 even if we could not join together in Acts of Remembrance.

In the current issue of the paper there is a special Poppy Poster, backed by the Royal British Legion, which you can still display in your window to show your support - there is another two-minute silence on Armistice Day, November 11.

We have also been urging everyone to show their support by buying a poppy if they are able, or by making a donation to the Royal British Legion.
