Saint Catherine's launches new Santa Paws experience at its Scarborough cafe

Taking place on Saturday November 28 and December 5, 12 and 19, between 10am and noon, the festive mornings invite owners and their four-legged friends to enjoy a magical Christmas experience together.

Dogs can meet Santa and receive a special festive treat, while visitors can enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast sandwich.

The new event has been created for people looking to enjoy a fun festive outing with their canine companions, whether it’s a new Christmas tradition or simply a chance to celebrate the season together.

Tickets are £6 per human and £6 per dog.

Human tickets include a choice of a bacon, sausage or vegan breakfast sandwich, while every dog will receive a festive treat from Santa.

Visitors are welcome to take their own pictures and videos of their pet meeting Santa.

Flavours Bistro, based at Saint Catherine’s in Scarborough, welcomes dogs throughout the year.

Jodi Hatton, Events Fundraiser for Saint Catherine’s, said: "We’re delighted to be introducing The Santa Paws Experience for the first time this year.

"We know how much people love including their dogs in Christmas celebrations, so we wanted to create something fun, festive and memorable.

"We can’t wait to welcome visitors and their four-legged friends for a magical morning with Santa.”

Places are limited and advance booking is essential.

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, dogs must remain on a lead, be comfortable around people and other dogs, and owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour throughout the event.

Up to two dogs can attend per booking.

Every visit to Flavours Bistro also helps support the work of Saint Catherine’s, with proceeds contributing towards the specialist care and support the charity provides for local people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
