Scarborough beauty pageant judge, writer and historian Sally-Ann Fawcett says she was delighted to be Head Judge at the Miss Great Britain pageant in Leicester.

Invited for the ninth year running to join the panel of judges, Mrs Fawcett was delighted to get the chance to meet up with Scarborough's Lottie Stephens, the newly-crowned Miss Teen Great Britain.

Mrs Fawcett said: "I was so excited to meet Lottie, especially as she is only the second Scarborough woman in history to win a national beauty title.
