I would like to nominate my mum Sue Elworthy. She works 12 hour shifts in a care home then goes home every night to her seven-year-old son and helping everyone else that cant go anywhere due to health reasons."
This is Clair Murgatroyd, who is a nurse on Lilac Ward at Scarborough Hospital. She bought three iPads so patients could videocall their relatives before being put on ventilators and sourced CD players/ radios so the patients wouldnt have to lie in silence.
Three little ones wanted to honour their mum, Lucy Horncastle, who works as a healthcare assistant at Scarborough Hospital. She works very hard to care for the ill at work. We are really proud of her. Love you mum.
Wed like to nominate our store manager Fiona Anderson. She made us a promise no matter what she will get us through this unusual situation. She has stepped up to the mark and has guided us forward in the most horrendous times some of us have ever encountered. Fiona has proved not all heroes wear capes.
