Scarborough RNLI rescued a small fishing coble off the coast of Scarborough yesterday (January 21).

The small fishing boat’s engine failed and it was about two miles east of Scarborough lighthouse when the inshore lifeboat reached it.

The lifeboat, with a crew of three, towed the vessel back to the harbour.

If you see anyone injured or in distress on the coast, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.
