Will you go sweet or savoury this Pancake Day?

From traditional lemon and sugar to tasty chorizo and pesto, a creperie in Robin Hood’s Bay is ready to tickle your tastebuds on Pancake Day next Tuesday.

The Cafe Shack in the bottom of the Bay has turned itself from a traditional cafe to a creperie and Louise Shackleton, pictured, has been on hand this week to serve up some of her favouite fillings.

She said: “A couple of other cafes have opened up since we have and we wanted to do something diffrent. It has gone down well so far. One woman came in wanting a bacon sandwich - I said I could do it in a crepe instead...”
