The inshore lifeboat was launched at about 10.30am this morning when a yacht ran aground in the harbour mouth at low tide.

A potting boat was used to rescue the one person aboard before the lifeboat crew secured the yacht by attaching it to the pier and setting an anchor.

The yacht was not blocking the harbour entrance and refloated when the tide flooded.
