Seven-night UK beach holidays are dropping below £200 thanks to discounted Parkdean breaks and an extra £20 off code

Taking the family or a group of friends away for a seven-night holiday in a coastal resort is normally the sort of thing you'd have to spend months saving up for - but we've found a selection of beach holidays that cost less than £200.

It's thanks to a special offer by Parkdean Resorts, which knocks a further £20 off the price of some of its already discounted holidays, using a discount code.

It brings the price of some seven-night, four-person breaks comfortably down below £200, especially if you're not too choosy about the dates you go away.

Obviously, high summer, even May, usually sees the prices ramp up to above £200 but we've found plenty of holidays, even in the spring months, that you can book now for less than £200. And in some cases, the low prices start up again in September.

We've used seven-night holidays as an example, but shorter breaks obviously come in cheaper, and 14-night breaks are available, but obviously costing more. The price will also sometimes depend on accommodation type, which we've explained in each listing.

Here is our list of some of Parkdean's bargain holidays. Just don't forget to use the code PZLINK20 when you book to get the extra £20 off. All the prices we state are based on that saving, and the code expires on February 25, at 11.59pm.

1. Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park - lowest price £169

Among the cheapest beach-side seven-night holidays for four people on the Parkdean website are just £169 - and it's at a gorgeous resort in South Wales.

This price is for late February, to stay in a four-berth static caravan, and there are also dates in March and October. April dates start at £209.

Carmarthen Bay has direct beach access, and most of South Wales's tourist hotspots are within a 30-minute drive.

2. Kessingland Beach Holiday Park - lowest price £171

There's a choice of seven-night accommodation at Kessingland, in East Anglia. Lodges and caravans are available within £200, with lots of dates available, even in May.

As we write this, there are a few February dates below £200, plenty in March, a handful in April, and five in May. June dates start at £239, but there are currently a few September holidays below £200.

Kessingland Beach Holiday Park is surrounded by woodland, and there's a short walk to the beach on the East Anglian coast

3. Looe Bay Holiday Park - lowest price £179

The best prices at Looe Bay are based on caravans, but most of them sleep six people, which could bring the cost down if you share it among friends.

And that's a good thing, because sub-£200 seven-night holidays are harder to find at this popular Cornish resort, with a few in February and March, but none in April, and a handful in October.

Looe Bay itself offers an iconic harbour, historic cottages, delicious seafood, captivating rock pools and bags of local charm.

4. White Acres Holiday Park - lowest price £179

Another Cornwall holiday park, near the surfing mecca of Newquay, White Acres has no sub-£200 holidays in April or May, but a few come close. There are some in February and March, but the summer months are pretty pricey.

Prices do dip again in September, but the sub-£200 breaks don't start up again until October.

There is a choice of lodges or caravans, but these prices are based on caravans, which are substantially cheaper.

White Acres sits within reach of world-famous beaches like Lusty Glaze and Fistral Beach.

5. Nodes Point Holiday Park - lowest price £179

Off to the Isle of Wight for this one, so do factor in ferry prices, which are notoriously steep. But you have a choice of caravans and chalets, which cost broadly the same.

There are lots of dates available in February and March if you want to spend less than £200 on accommodation, but only a few in April and May.

Using the discount code, September pricing does come close to £200, but it's October when they start to dip below again.

White Acres is close to Priory Bay beach, with idyllic woodland and harbours nearby.

6. Todber Valley Holiday Park - lowest price £167

Caravans are the cheapest choice at Todber Valley, in Lancashire's Ribble Valley. And there's currently only one seven-night date below £200 available in February.

There are a few in March, but none in April, and May onwards is out of the question.

September sees bargain breaks return, but dates are limited, and it's a similar story from October onwards.

As settings go, though, you might not have a beach on your doorstep, but the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are close by. It's a walker's paradise.

7. Ocean Edge Holiday Park - lowest price £169

The only other location in the Parkdean Portfolio to offer seven-night breaks for less than £200 is Ocean Edge, which is also in Lancashire, but this time close to a beach.

Avoid the plush lodges, and there are bargains to be had in caravans, which start at £169 for a date in March.

We've only found one sub-£200 date in February, a few in April, but none in May. Even September fails to bear fruit, but there are a few dates in October to go at.

Ocean Edge does have a heated indoor pool and a sauna, though. So with its facilities and its setting, it's still worth a look.
