Edgehill win at Easington to boost ER County League Premiership title bid
Edgehill returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory at Easington in the Right Car East Riding County League Premiership on Saturday.
The visitors started well and the lively Joshua Fergus had two great opportunities to put Edgehill into the lead, the first cleared off the line and the second he blazed over from close range.

Edgehill got the deserved lead not long after, excellent work from youngster George Martin on the wing and his outside of the foot cross found front man Ryan Link who controlled nearly and lashed home.
The home team pushed on but didn’t really cause keeper Martin Cappleman any problems.

In the second half Edgehill piled on the pressure and doubled their lead on the hour.
Skipper Kieran Link crossed for 16-year-old debutant Artie Dodds, who headed home with his very first touch of the ball for the club.
Joe Gallagher got on the scoresheet 10 minutes later, Jack Hakings won a header from a corner and Gallagher controlled and smashed home from inside the six-yard box.
Gallagher completed the scoring, winning and scoring a penalty late on.
