James Robinson impresses in Boro Under-12s loss against leaders Evolution
Scarborough Athletic Under-12s welcomed table-toppers Evolution in what turned out to be a tough morning for the Boro boys.
Playing into a very strong wind, it was Scarborough that actually had a couple of early chances before the away team's quality started to shine through. Although Scarborough gave plenty of effort right across the pitch, a clinical Evolution side put in 10 unanswered goals in a difficult first half.

The second half saw Scarborough play some really good football.
The hosts spent much more time in the opposition's half, and got a well-deserved goal when Rhys Trulio got on the end of a lovely ball forward by Preston Vickers to fire past the Evolution keeper.
Scarborough could have added a couple more but couldn't quite find the finishing touch, and Evolution added another two goals to run out comfortable winners.
While it was a tough result for the hosts, they never let their heads drop and showed how well they can play in that second half.
Player of the game James Robinson put in a rock-solid display at the back, cutting out numerous dangerous attacks from the away team.
