Top-flight USB quit Saturday League
Local football suffered another hammer blow this week following the resignation of Scarborough News Saturday League side United Sports Bar.
The first division side have struggled to raise a team for while and boss Dave Oxley decided that enough was enough.
“It’s a shame but we just don’t have enough players to raise a team every week,” said Oxley.
A league meeting will be held in mid-March, where their resignation will be confirmed officially. Until that time the league tables cannot be amended by the league.
