Hundreds set for Festival of Cycling action

This weekend’s Scarborough Festival of Cycling is set to attract hundreds of competitors to the area.

Sunday’s road racing already has over 300 entrants across all categories on the day, while 53 entrants have signed up for Paragon Cycling Club’s 10m time trial on Saturday afternoon at Burton Fleming, which gets under way at 2pm.

The grass track, sportive and family rides have some pre-entrants, but are open to on the day registration.

Paragon’s Sunday hill climb at 12.15pm is also still open to entrants on the day.

The event is open to all, and anyone interested can sign on at Oliver’s Mount by 11.30am on Sunday.
