The second semi-final was an equally tough battle with Sue Wilkinson getting a three-point start on Barrie Watson.

After a close match Watson eventually fought his way through with a tense 21-19 victory.

Daplyn had a three-point start in the final and set off well stretching the lead to five points and the game became nip and tuck with Daplyn looking poised for victory when 19-14 ahead but Watson came back and at 19-17 down looked poised to even the score with 2 six inch woods.

However Daplyn produced a fantastic wood to take the end and move 20-17 up and followed this with a tremendous lead that Watson couldn’t beat to take the trophy 21-17.
