Webb and Thompson beat Malone and Chilvers in Dukes Park Round Robin Doubles
Sunday was a Round Robin Doubles at Dukes Park sponsored by Ernest Brigham, undertakers, Bridlington.
There with some light showers, cool periods and sunny intervals.

There were 64 entrants and the competition was played with pairs drawing their own numbers to determine which of the 8 groups of 4 pairs they played in the first half.
In this the teams in each of the groups played all the other three pairs with the qualifier from each group being decided by the number of points scored.
If 2 pairs were equal on points scored the pair with the better points difference would go through and if they were still equal at that point the pair that had won their game against each other would go through.
