Astro Dog stargazing sessions return to Dalby Forest, near Pickering
Astro Dog stargazing experiences are officially returning to Dalby Forest this season.
The business, run by astrology enthusiasts Simon Scott and Nicole Carr, didn't hold any events at Dalby last season – and the messages they received from people hoping they’d return to the woodland venue “meant the world to us,” they said.
So the couple have worked hard to make it happen and are delighted to announce a limited run of special late night stargazing experiences now live on the Astro Dog website throughout the rest of August and September.
These are likely to be the only public dates they hold at Dalby Forest this year.

Nestled in the heart of the North York Moors, Dalby Forest boasts some of the darkest skies in the region, making it one of the finest stargazing locations in the north of England.
Astro Dog’s expert guides will make the night unforgettable, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned stargazer.
You will see the Milky Way in all its glory, meteors, stunning star clusters, galaxies including the famous Andromeda Galaxy, our nearest galactic neighbour, and so much more.
This season Astro Dog are bringing an even larger telescope to Dalby for the most spectacular views yet.

And don’t worry it's cloudy, you can still enjoy a journey to the stars inside the immersive planetarium dome.
Spaces are limited and it is expected these will sell out fast! You can find all available dates and book your spot via the link in the comments below. Once they're gone, they're gone!
Nicole and Simon said: “After a season away from Dalby, it is so amazing to be back.
“This is where it all began for us and we are excited to be back at Dalby for this limited run of events and can't wait to share wonders of the cosmos under the wonderful dark skies of Dalby Forest again.
“As a small, independent local business, your support truly means the world to us.”
