Milewood Scarborough Services celebrates multiple regional Great British Care Award nominations
Several staff members at Milewood Scarborough Services have been shortlisted in the North East and Yorkshire & Humberside Great British Care Awards.
The company says the nominations highlight the ‘dedication, compassion, and person-centred care’ provided across Milewood’s services, celebrating those who ‘go above and beyond’ for service users.
The regional awards recognise individuals and teams in the care sector who demonstrate high standards.
North East Region Finalists
- Clare Tomlinson & Samantha Hunt have been nominated for the Co-Production Award, for involving service users in decision-making processes, including shaping daily activities and individual care plans
- Leonne Ridsdale received a nomination for the Registered Manager Award, recognising her 10 years of service and leadership
Yorkshire & Humberside Region Finalists
- Rowan House Night Staff Team were shortlisted in the Care Home Team / Night Care Innovator Category, for providing overnight safety at Rowan House
- Peter Agbaosi has been nominated for the Support Worker Award, for his ongoing and direct day-to-day support to Milewood residents
