There, formal Acts of Remembrance, a Drumhead Ceremony, a Poppy Drop, and the Blessing of Standards and Wreaths will take place finishing by 10.35am, when a solemn public parade led by the Band of the Scarborough Sea Cadets will march from the church to the Lifeboat House and West Pier.

The service will then move to the Lifeboat Slipway at 10.40am for concluding Acts of Remembrance, the observation of the national two minutes' silence, and the laying of poppies on the sea.

Members of the local community are welcomed to join for all or just part of the morning service to honour all those who served.
