Former nursery could be transformed into huge family home
Plans have been submitted to transform a former children's nursery into a '˜unique family home' with five bedrooms.
The Honeysuckle Centre in Scarborough Road, which ran mother-and-baby groups and offered support to new parents, closed its doors in 2015 but is being lined up for a new lease of life.
A document supporting the plan says: “It is the aim of both the applicants and the agent to endeavour to fully restore and retain the special external nature of this unique property and to re-establish and preserve the exclusive interior character of the building which unfortunately has been seriously neglected by its previous owners, thus saving the building from a slow decline.
“The application will provide an attractive, high quality, unique family home.”
