Goathland Nature Group to host community screening of The People's Emergency Briefing

The Goathland Nature Group will be hosting a special community screening of the The People’s Emergency Briefing on Thursday August 20.

The film is the result of a briefing by 10 leading experts in November 2025 on the implications, for this country and its people, of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy.

The intention is to demonstrate the kind of evidence-based briefing on these vitally important issues that could be helpfully produced together with positive actions that can be taken by us all to tackle them.

A hosting of the film will take place at 7pm on Thursday August 20 in Goathland Village Hall.

The film will last about 50 minutes and if people wish to discuss any of the issues raised time will be made available for discussion.

Entry is free, there will be refreshments available, and tickets are required for entry to control numbers to the event.
