Whitby RNLI to lay poppies at sea following Service of Remembrance
Whitby RNLI will hold a Service of Remembrance at its lifeboat station on Saturday, November 7, followed by a special tribute at sea.
The service will begin at 2pm, with the Whitby lifeboat subsequently heading out to sea as crew members scatter poppies in remembrance of those who have lost their lives.

The station will also be represented at the town’s Remembrance Sunday services on November 8, with a service at Dock End at 10.45am and at St Mary’s Church at 2.30pm.
