Staithes coastguard team called out to hypothermic walker with ankle and arm injuries
Staithes Coastguard Team helped an injured walker who had fallen on a cliff path.
The team were called out to the path between Skinningrove and Boulby on Boxing Day afternoon.
The hurt walker had ankle and arm injuries and was severely hypothermic but had managed to contact a family member to raise the alarm.
If you see someone in trouble on the coast, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
