Richard Cappleman bagged first spot in the Butlins Challenge Bowl at the Filey Fishing Festival on Wednesday.

Cappleman, who snapped up 32lb 7oz in the greatest weight of codling held off a strong challenge from Mel Crooks, who finished with 31lb 8oz.
