Pocklington CC mark new major deal with Bond International with home win for 1sts

Pocklington CC marked a major new sponsorship link-up with local company Bond International – beginning with a generous contribution to fund a new patio terrace at the front of the clubhouse, named The Reg Bond Terrace – with a win for the first XI on Saturday.

The sponsorship holds particular significance for Charlie, now CEO of Bond International, who began his cricketing journey representing Pocklington CC at junior level before progressing into senior cricket.

Charlie said: I am thrilled that Bond International is supporting Pocklington CC, an important part of the local community. When I was approached it was a simple decision. I fully understand the financial pressures on grassroots clubs and the work volunteers do to ensure they keep running for the benefit of the local area."

Bond International also agreed an initial three-year sponsorship of Pocklington CC’s thriving junior section so every junior member receives a free club playing shirt for the first time in the club’s history, proudly sponsored by Churchill Tyres, Bond International’s own tyre brand.
