Scarborough College star Callum shines at U19 World Cup
There has been Scarborough College representation at the current ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup which is being co-hosted by Namibia and Zimbabwe.
Year 11 student Callum Armstrong has been representing Ireland in Group C, opening the batting during their second group game against Sri Lanka.

Despite wickets falling around him, he top scored with 39 as his side fell short of the target.
Callum, who recently turned 16, helped Scarborough College become North Champions and reach the national semis last year.
Old Scardeburgian, Shaquan Belle, has also been in action at the tournament representing West Indies in Group D.
Another Old Scardeburgian, Matthew Firbank, has recently signed a full professional contract with Yorkshire CCC.
A product of the Yorkshire system – the fast bowler has come up through the age-groups and the Academy – he has been playing for the county’s second team for the last couple of seasons.
He has played his league cricket at Pannal CC and Clifton Alliance CC.
