Teenager Stan Newman stars in Woodhouse Grange’s home win against Beverley
A Woodhouse Grange CC 1sts' big recovery gave them an unlikely four-wicket win at home to Beverley.
It was looking good as seamers Toby Findlay (6-29) and Tom Neal (3-51) reduced Bev to 45-8 until a late flurry took them to 122 all out in the 24th over.

Rob Gainer starred with bat and ball to take Woodhouse Grange 2nds to a 50-run win at Welton.
Gainer's 70 was the day's biggest score and mainstay of Grange's 176; then Welton looked on course before Gainer returned 5-23 with his left-arm spin to bowl them out for 126.
Woodhouse 3rds set 204 against Easingwold, Joe Barr 40 and Dan Wilson 42no, then teenager Alex Collins took 4-43 in a 46-run success.
Marcus Smith, Gav Wright and Rob Daniel all made half centuries in Woodhouse 4ths 228-4 but Bishopthorpe overhauled them in the last over with 229-6.
James Hanley made his biggest contribution since his permanent return to Londesborough Park, his patient 71 not out steering Park to a five-wicket win after they had bowled out Sessay for 209, Jack Cowling 4-56.
Stamford Bridge were sent back for 117 by league leaders Clifton Alliance who went on to win by eight wickets.
