Experienced defender Alex White returns to Whitby Town
Whitby Town have brought former defender Alex White back to the club in a move designed to add experience and stability to their defence.
The well-campaigned centre-half returns to the Towbar Express Stadium having previously enjoyed two spells with the Seasiders, making 167 appearances and scoring seven goals during his time in blue.

White first joined Whitby on loan from Workington in 2011 before making the move permanent and quickly becoming a key figure in the side. His performances saw him sweep the club's Player of the Year awards in the 2011-12 season.
Following spells with a number of clubs across the North East, including Spennymoor Town and Shildon, White returned to Whitby in 2018 and again established himself as a dependable presence in defence.
The veteran defender arrives with a wealth of non-league experience and is expected to provide leadership and organisation at the back as Whitby continue to strengthen their squad.
White had most recently been with Whickham and now makes a familiar return to the club where he enjoyed some of the most successful years of his career.
His signing gives manager Lee Bullock an experienced option in defence and a player with a strong understanding of both the club and the demands of the Northern Premier League.
For Whitby supporters, it is also the return of a popular former player whose commitment and consistency made him a firm favourite during his previous spells on the Yorkshire coast.
